Thomas Sorrentino, M.D. is a resident in the general surgery program at UCSF. He completed his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering at Yale and received his MD from UCSF in 2019. His focus is on the development and clinical implementation of new technologies.

He is the Head of Clinical Development at Diatiro, a UCSF spinout building a novel organ preservation device, and is involved in a number of other medical device projects at UCSF and as a consultant to industry. He is pursuing fellowship in colorectal surgery.
