Dr. Grandhe is a triple board-certified physician with dual fellowships from Harvard-affiliated institutions. He trained in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and in Bioethics at the Harvard Center for Bioethics.

Among his many distinctions, Dr. Grandhe is one of the youngest physicians to earn the prestigious designation of Fellow of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (FAAHPM), the highest honor awarded by AAHPM.
Dr. Grandhe is board-certified in Hospice by the Hospice Medical Director Certification Board (HMDCB), highlighting his advanced expertise in hospice leadership and patient care. He is also a Healthcare Ethics Consultant-Certified (HEC-C), reflecting his dedication to ethical principles in medicine, and a Certified Physician Executive (CPE), showcasing his leadership in healthcare management. As a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine (ABLM), he integrates preventive and lifestyle-focused strategies to improve patient outcomes.
Deeply connected to California’s Central Valley, where he grew up, Dr. Grandhe has dedicated his career to serving medically underserved and disadvantaged populations. After completing his training at Harvard, he returned to the region with a mission to provide culturally sensitive, compassionate care.
Dr. Grandhe’s academic interests lie at the intersection of palliative care, hematology, and oncology. He has presented his research at national conferences, published abstracts, and authored numerous scientific papers and book chapters. His photographic fillers have been featured in the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), showcasing his multifaceted contributions to the field.
