Steven Tringali, DO, FACP, is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at UCSF Fresno. He is the Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency. Dr. Tringali's clinical work is at Community Regional Medical Center and the VA Central California Healthcare System, where he attends on the medicine wards. His interests are in evidence-based medicine, point-of-care ultrasound, procedural training, teaching residents and medical students, and coaching residents to become better teachers.

He has published clinical research in cardiovascular risk factors, including blood pressure, atrial fibrillation, and cardiovascular events. Prior to medical school, he worked as a software developer. Today, he continues to take a special interest in innovative technology and its potential to transform medical education.
