Shubhra Gupta is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hospital Medicine at UCSF. She joined faculty in 2018 and has been leading Quality Improvement, including establishing platforms for QI efforts at St Mary's Medical Center. She has also created a QI curriculum for the Internal Medicine residency at St Mary's Medical Center.

In addition to running health systems improvement projects, the focus of Dr. Gupta's current academic work is on medical education of quality improvement for medical students, residents and faculty development including mentorship of QI projects.
