Associate Clinical Professor
Dr. Soriano attended medical school at the University of East Ramon Magsaysay, Memorial Medical Center, in Quezon City, Philippines, and postgraduate internship at the University of the Philippines, Philippine General Hospital, in Manila. She completed her internal medicine residency at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois, where she also completed a fellowship in pulmonary medicine. She completed a fellowship in critical care medicine at the Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in the Bronx, New York, and a fellowship in sleep medicine at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, sleep medicine, and neurocritical care. She received the Inpatient Faculty of the Year Award from the UCSF Fresno Internal Medicine Residency in 2025. She is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Thoracic Society, the American College of Chest Physicians, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the American Thoracic Society Women in Critical Care.
