At UCSF, he uses translational rodent models to investigate how environmental factors, specifically cannabis, impact the maturing adolescent brain, aiming to fill critical gaps in safety data and regulatory science.

Beyond the bench, Dr. Sadrian is a dedicated science communicator who believes research should be accessible to everyone. He has written for national public magazines, striving to translate rigorous scientific findings into actionable knowledge for families. His broader interests span neurodevelopment, pain management, and anesthesia. Outside of his professional endeavors, he finds joy in cooking, listening to podcasts, and playing tennis.
