Seth Goldman is a Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Francisco. He also serves as the Informatics Director for Inpatient Services, Digital Collaboration and Technology Integration in the Office of Health Informatics for the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH).

As a board certified, technology-focused Medical Informaticist, he focuses on the integration of established and emerging information technologies with clinical practice. His current work focuses on implementing a unified communications platform across acute care settings, and supporting process improvement across acute, ambulatory and long term care settings. He also oversees Clinical Decision Support in Epic and the Technology Solutions and Standards committee for the SFDPH.

He provides direct patient care and consultation as a hospitalist at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital in the Division of Hospital Medicine. His clinical interests include working with the under-served and improving clinical communication.
