Seth Goldman is a Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Francisco. He also serves as the Informatics Director for Technology Integration and Digital Health in the Office of Health Informatics for the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH).

As a board certified, technology-focused Medical Informaticist, he focuses on the integration of established and emerging information technologies with clinical practice. His current work brings biomedical devices into modern clinical communication and workflows to improve patient care in the acute, ambulatory and long term care settings. He also oversees Clinical Decision Support in Epic and Enterprise Communication and Collaboration initiatives for the SFDPH.

He provides direct patient care and consultation as a hospitalist at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital in the Division of Hospital Medicine. His clinical interests include working with the under-served and improving clinical communication.
