Upon completion of her Registered Nurse training at St. Olaf college in 2000, she moved to San Francisco to make it her new home. She has been supporting women through the child-birth process ever since working in the Labor and Delivery unit at various hospitals in the bay area. She completed her educational goal by obtaining a degree as a Certified Nurse Midwife from UCSF in 2009.

She is passionate about providing education and guidance for women in health through one of the most transformational moments in their lives. Her goal is to allow each woman to feel empowered by their birth process and feel supported in the post-partum period.

Due to her personal interest in holistic health, she has extended her training to include Mindful Pregnancy through guided imagery and meditation instruction. These skills have proved to be very useful for decreasing anxiety and improving birth outcomes in her patients.

Fluent in both Spanish and Russian, she values providing culturally competent care. Outside of her professional and family life, she is passionate about utilizing her artistic training as a pregnancy and new born photographer.
