Sandra serves as a Grants Specialist within the Proposals & Grants team (Team E) at the UCSF Office of Sponsored Research. She provides comprehensive pre-award services to faculty in the Pulmonary and Clinical Pharmacology groups at ZSFG, as well as the entire faculty at UCSF Fresno.

Sandra’s career at UCSF began in February 2007 as a Study Coordinator. Over the years, she has held several key roles, including the Clinical Pharmacology T32 Program Administrator and a Project Manager for a variety of research studies, before transitioning to her current role in November 2022. Before joining the university, Sandra gained extensive experience at Wells Fargo Bank, where she specialized in bank balancing, legal administration, and high-profile client relations.
