Sandra is a Grants Specialist on the Proposals & Grants team (Team E) under the UCSF Office of Sponsored Research. She provides pre-award services directly to faculty in the Pulmonary group and Clinical Pharmacology at ZSFG, and all faculty at UCSF, Fresno. Sandra began her career at UCSF as a Study Coordinator in February 2007. Her roles, included CPT T32 Program Administrator and Project Manager.

She moved into the role of Grants Specialist in November 2022. Prior to joining UCSF, Sandra held multiple positions at Wells Fargo Bank, including bank balancing, supporting legal services, and assisting high profile commercial businesses.
