Dr Cucina is the Chief Health Information Officer and Vice President for Genetic and Genomic Services for the UCSF Health System, and Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hospital Medicine.

In addition to his clinical practice, he is responsible for UCSF Health’s analytics, software, and information infrastructure to advance the missions of UCSF and its partners, and the executive leadership of UCSF Health's genetics and genomics laboratories, patient and provider services, information technologies, and strategic partnerships.
