She then completed Ophthalmology residency training at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill followed by a Cornea, External disease and Refractive surgery fellowship at the Casey Eye Institute in Portland, Oregon, where she received their Fellow of the Year award. Dr. Pegany’s interests include infectious diseases of the cornea and resident education.
