As a neurosurgical resident at Hospital Civil de Guadalajara "Fray Antonio Alcalde," he actively participated in Guadalajara's Mission Brain with neurosurgical teams from UCSF and Johns Hopkins. He had the opportunity to attend several cadaveric courses in the United States – further igniting his passion for cadaveric dissections in the hopes of improving results in the operating room. He has an extensive observership experience from countries including the United States, Germany, France, and England.
