Clinical Professor, UCSF
The former Chief of Psychiatry, Dr. Hierholzer is now the Associate Chief of Staff for Research and Education at the VA Central California Health Care System and a Health Sciences Clinical Professor at UCSF Fresno. A graduate of Baylor College of Medicine, he completed his Psychiatric Residency at UCLA. Dr. Hierholzer is a dynamic teacher with particular interests in cross-cultural and geriatric psychiatry. He is Board Certified in Psychiatry, with added qualifications in Geriatric Psychiatry.
