Ritika Prasad is an infectious diseases physician at UCSF. She manages a broad range of infectious diseases, including invasive and difficult-to-treat bacterial infections. She treats patients in the hospital and in the clinic.

Her research interests include antibiotic stewardship and medical education. She is dedicated to improving the quality and safety of antimicrobial use, advancing trainee education, and fostering supportive learning environments for medical learners.

She received her BS from Stanford University in Chemistry. She received her MD from UCSD School of Medicine. She went on to complete her Internal Medicine residency at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and her Infectious Diseases fellowship at Stanford University.
