Dr. Rebecca Lewis's research and clinical work focuses on advancing hearing health outcomes and increasing accessibility, particularly for individuals using cochlear implants and hearing aids. In her clinical practice, she emphasizes personalized care by thoroughly exploring patient histories, developing tailored treatment plans, and ensuring comprehensive follow-up.

Her approach integrates advanced audiological tools and multi-language resources to provide equitable care for diverse populations.

In her research, Dr. Lewis investigates predictors of successful hearing aid and cochlear implant outcomes, examining candidacy measures and analyzing both objective and subjective data. Her work includes exploring innovative metrics, such as harmonic consonance-dissonance perception, and refining clinical tools to enhance patient care. She is also engaged in creating educational resources, utilizing AI and automation to increase accessibility and improve patient understanding.

Additionally, Dr. Lewis plays a key role in mentoring and leading quality improvement projects within audiology, welcoming collaborations with other institutions to bridge research and clinical applications. Her overarching goal is to improve patient-centered care and outcomes in the field of audiology, combining clinical practice and research to drive meaningful innovations.
