Rahmat Balogun serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine within the Division of Occupational, Environmental, and Climate Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Department of Medicine. In addition to her academic role, she holds the position of Assistant Medical Director at UCSF's Occupational Health Services Department.

She earned her medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM). Additionally she completed a Master of Science in Neuromuscular Skeletal Medicine and a Master of Public Health from NYIT and the University of California, Berkeley, respectively. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and in Occupational and Environmental Medicine. She is currently completing a Fellowship Program in Integrative Medicine though the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Health.

Rahmat's research interest is primarily focused on exploring the efficacy of complementary and alternative healing practices and their impact on overall health and wellbeing.
