Dr. Rachelle Durand earned her DO from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency at Wayne State University where she served as a co-chief resident and received the 2017 Radiology Resident of the Year award.

While at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Dr. Durand completed a fellowship in Pediatric Radiology and a fellowship in Pediatric Interventional Radiology. Dr. Durand's professional interests are therapies for vascular anomalies and optimizing the effectiveness of gastrostomy tube placement. Durand's research involves characterizing the mechanics of neonatal PICCs, metastatic thyroid ablation therapy, and vascular anomalies. Dr. Durand joined the UCSF Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging in 2020.
