Pujita Munnangi is a general surgery resident at UCSF. Dr. Munnangi has a BS in Bioengineering from Rice University (graduated 2021), with minor in biochemistry. She received her MEng in Interdiscplinary Engineering and MD from the Texas A&M School of Engineering Medicine in 2025. Her research interests include medical device development, diagnostic and therapeutic tools in surgical oncology, and surgical ergonomics.
