Nicole Henry is a Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist (CPO) at the ZSFG Orthotics and Prosthetics Center. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Physiology and Anatomy at California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. She then went on to receive a Master of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics at California State University, Dominguez Hills.

She completed her orthotics residency at UCSF and her prosthetics residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC). While at UMMC, she received a First Place Research Award in the category of Outstanding Clinical Diagnostics for her presentation on “Effectiveness of educational in-service on provider confidence and patient care regarding spinal orthoses.”
Nicole is an active member of the Functional Limb Service (FLS) team at ZSFG and leads the Amputee Support Group at ZSFG. She also runs the Orthotics and Prosthetics clinic at Laguna Honda Hospital. She is very passionate about patient centered care. This includes involving patients in decision-making and tailoring orthotic and prosthetic treatment to meet the unique values and preferences of each patient.
