Nicholas Roznovsky is the director of communications for the UCSF Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute, Langley Porter Psychiatric Hospital, and UCSF Child, Teen and Family Center. He joined UCSF in 2013.

He is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing communication strategies for all four entities, along with their constituent sub-units. He oversees the development and use of department websites, social media outlets, and printed publications to meet the needs of faculty, staff, students and patients, while coordinating external press communications with UCSF's University Relations office.

Nicholas is a native Texan who greatly enjoys the cool Bay Area climate after years of suffering in the heat and humidity. He has extensive experience in strategic communications, online development, and public relations in the fields of media, entertainment, and higher education, and has previously held roles at Texas A&M's Mays Business School, the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine, and the Bryan-College Station Eagle.

He served on the UCSF Staff Assembly executive board from 2014 to 2020, including a term as the organization's chair for 2018-2019. He has previously held volunteer positions with San Francisco's Market Street Railway, the Texas Associated Press Managing Editors, Texas A&M Former Journalism Students Association, and the International Association of Business Communicators.
