Dr. Keshav earned his medical degree at the Eastern Virginia Medical School. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center and a fellowship in abdominal imaging and ultrasound at UCSF.

Prior to joining UCSF, Dr. Keshav practiced at Kaiser Permanente in the East Bay where he helped implement an MRI endometriosis protocol and worked with gynecologic surgeons to improve the correlation between imaging and operative findings. His role as a volunteer clinical faculty in the abdominal imaging and ultrasound division at UCSF further underscores his dedication to the field.

Dr. Keshav's clinical and academic interests include hepatobiliary, pancreatic and genitourinary imaging, particularly in the continued evolution and applicability of the Bosniak 2019 criteria for cystic renal disease. He presented abstracts and educational exhibits at multiple imaging society meetings, published educational review articles and served as a resident panelist for the Radiographics Genitourinary Panel.
