She conducts qualitative and applied research in health professions education, using sociological theories and qualitative methods to understand how social processes shape learning, collaboration, and clinical practice in healthcare settings. Dr. Bochatay co-leads the Health Professions Education Pathway and collaborates with educators, clinicians, and researchers on educational and scholarly initiatives in simulation-based education, teamwork, conflict management, and speaking up in healthcare teams.
