Mohammad Karimzada is a general surgery resident at UCSF. He received his BS in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from UC Davis and his medical degree from UCLA. His research interests include surgical innovations and devices. He is interested in pursuing a career in acute care surgery and trauma. Furthermore, he is involved in resident education and hopes to continue the tradition of training the next generation of surgeons through innovative methods.
