Miranda Surjadi is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the School of Nursing. She joined the faculty in the Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) program in 2014. She is the Specialty Coordinator for the Post Masters AGPCNP program and her teaching focus is on 2nd year NP education.

She teaches in a variety of formats from being the faculty of record for large clinical core classes to leading small seminar discussions. As an educator, her focus is on clinical evaluations and incorporating entrustable professional activities (EPA) into current evaluations of NP students in their clinical residencies. In addition, she is also a mentor and preceptor to NP students.
She currently precepts NP students at Zuckerberg San Francisco General's Liver clinic, where she has been a nurse practitioner, since 2006. Her faculty practice focuses on viral hepatitis, such as hepatitis B and C. She is involved in various clinical trials including both NIH sponsored and pharmaceutical drug trials. Most recently, she was awarded a grant from the National Viral Hepatitis Roundtable (NVHR) in 2017-2018 to increase the knowledge and further education of occupational health nurses in hepatitis C screening, evaluation, and management.
