Dr. Peters is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and the Department of Medicine at UCSF. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine, and completed a masters degree program in clinical research.

His clinical activities include critical care medicine, attending in the UCSF pulmonary function laboratory, and an outpatient practice focused on the care of patients with severe asthma. He directs a research program at the UCSF Parnassus Heights campus focused on identifying the molecular mechanisms that drive severe asthma.
