Dr. Duke's research seeks to identify the ways in which particular structural conditions and policies negatively impact the physical and mental health of low income populations in the United States, including people experiencing homelessness, immigrant populations, and low wage workers. He is particularly interested in interrogating the relationship between structural vulnerability, housing and working conditions, and drug and alcohol use.
