Marco Villalobos produces literature and storytelling via multiple platforms. Global reaching and high impact, his work has secured support from partners across independent, corporate, academic, and government-partnered projects, employing literature and film to amplify the voices of historically marginalized communities throughout the western hemisphere.

Villalobos is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing strategic communications for the UCSF Action Research Center for Health Equity. He draws on his deep background in literature and film in his collaborative work with faculty and staff to enhance and broaden the impact of ARC’s research, policy recommendations, and educational efforts.
