My clinical interests lie in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of infections in immunocompromised hosts (ICH). I am a member of the Pediatric ID ICH team. In addition, I am committed to advancing medical education across the spectrum of training.

I serve as the Co-Director for the Pathogen and Host Defense block in the School of Medicine, and am the Program Director for the Pediatric Infectious Disease Fellowship Program. I am a member of the UCSF Haile T. Debas Academy of Medical Educators. I am past-chair or the PIDS Transplant ID Education Sub-committee.
