I am a pediatric hematologist with a special interest in caring for individuals with inherited blood disorders, specifically sickle cell disease and thalassemia, throughout the lifespan. My overarching goal is to ensure patients who live with chronic conditions are able to thrive as healthy, functional children, adolescents and adults. I aim to achieve this by providing excellent clinical care, engaging in clinical research to better understand the current state and future of care and care delivery, and continue to learn by teaching others about the complexities of these fascinating hematologic conditions.
