Lucia Calthorpe is a research resident in general surgery at UCSF. She completed her B.A. at the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in Health and Societies. She then earned a master’s degree in epidemiology at the University of Cambridge, supported by the Gates Cambridge Scholarship. She attended medical school at the University of California, San Francisco.
