Lucas Wachsmuth is a General Surgery resident at UCSF. He earned his B.S. from the University of Georgia, where he double majored in Biochemistry and Biology, and his M.D./Ph.D. from Duke in 2025. His research interests center on development of the pediatric immune system, pediatric solid tumor immunology, and developing immunotherapeutic platforms specifically for pediatric oncology patients.
