Lowell Lo, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Nephrology. He is interested in medical and health professions education, particularly in the field of fluid, electrolytes, and acid-base disorders. He has been providing small group sessions, didactic rounds, and classroom lectures for the medical students, housestaff, and fellows since he started his faculty position at UCSF.

He also organizes the weekly renal fellow lecture series. He is looking forward to helping improve trainees’ understanding of basic renal physiology, which is critical in providing excellent patient care.
