Associate Program Director
Liana Milanes, M.D., is board certified in Family Medicine. She earned her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Family & Community Medicine at UCSF Fresno where she also served as Chief Resident. Her professional interests include behavioral health and psychiatry, addiction medicine, contraception and abortion, medical education, faculty development, simulation and procedures. Dr. Milanes is currently core faculty in the UCSF Fresno Department of Family & Community Medicine and chair of the Behavioral Science Curriculum.
Her hobbies include spending time with her partner (Megan) and her dogs (Mango & Papaya), reading, hiking, learning to cook and playing cozy video games. She is a native Spanish speaker and was born in Havana, Cuba.
