From 2010-2012 Leslie practiced primary care geriatrics at the Over 60 Health Center in Berkeley, where she was instrumental in planning a transition to electronic health records. During her last nine months there, she also served as the clinic’s medical director, overseeing clinical care, overhauling the housecalls program, and working on quality improvement.
Leslie now sees Bay Area patients at home through her own solo housecalls and geriatric consultation practice.
Leslie has a particular interest in supporting family caregivers and in making geriatrics expertise available online. She is the founder of BetterHealthWhileAging.net, a website and podcast that provides practical information on aging, health, and family caregiving.
She also blogs about geriatrics and technology at GeriTech.org.
