Dr. Lela Bachrach serves as the Adolescent Health and School-Based Health Medical director for the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland federally qualified health center. She enjoys clinical work and precepting trainees. Dr. Bachrach leads Children’s multidisciplinary professional group dedicated to ending human trafficking and supporting survivors from a trauma-informed, public health perspective.

She is passionate about reproductive justice and has worked to increase access to comprehensive family planning for youth. She also has a strong interest in leveraging technology to improve health.
