With a diverse background in athletic training, orthotics and extensive clinical experience, Lacie has developed a specialized focus in pediatric and adult orthotics.

Lacie went to California State University Northridge for her undergrad with a major in Kinesiology emphasis in Athletic Training. After graduation, she obtained her certification through BOC as a Certified Athletic Trainer. Prior to joining the department of O&P at UCSF, she worked at a private orthopaedic group in East Bay as a certified athletic trainer providing services such as game day coverage, casting/splint, home exercise programs for acute injuries and post-op patients as well as durable medical equipment. After joining the O&P team at UCSF in 2018, she obtained her certifications as a certified orthotic fitter as well as well certified orthotic assistant through ABC.

Throughout their career, Lacie has accumulated invaluable experience in both clinical and research settings. Her work has been characterized by a commitment to excellence and a passion for advancing the field of orthotics and prosthetics. She is currently seeing patients at the Mission Bay location. Getting the best of both world where she splits her time between the Orthopaedic Institute serving the adult population and at UCSF Mission Bay Benioff Children's Hospital serving the pediatric population.
