Dr. Pundiʼs research interest is in combining traditional epidemiologic approaches of understanding disease with novel methods of data acquisition to define clinical, demographic, and arrhythmia morphology features that predict cardiovascular events and death. Following internal medicine residency, Dr. Pundi received a combined appointment as a clinical instructor in hospital medicine and a post-doctoral research fellow for the ENHANCE-AF clinical trial as part of the AHAʼs Strategically Focused Research Networks. In 2022, he was awarded an ACC/Bristol Myers Squibb Research Fellowship Award to study the practice variation and treatment outcomes for patients with non-sustained ventricular tachycardia.
