Dr. Karina Del Rosario is a board-certified specialist in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Electrodiagnostic Medicine focused on non-operative and interdisciplinary care of patients with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions.

She specializes in performing electromyography and nerve conduction studies (EMG/NCS) to identify nerve and muscle injuries, along with neurological rehabilitation and management of musculoskeletal injuries and pain. Dr. Del Rosario graduated from the University of California-San Diego with a B.S. in Biochemistry & Cell Biology with Honors and received her M.D. from Drexel University College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the University of California-Davis and was awarded the Outstanding Teaching Award during her chief resident year. She remains active in teaching and mentorship of UCSF medical students and residents. Currently, she is one of the treating physicians at UCSF/ZSFG Orthopedic Trauma Institute.
