1. Immune-Mediated Cardiotoxicity and Cardio-Oncology:
- Investigating the mechanisms and management strategies of myocarditis associated with immune checkpoint inhibitors.
- Evaluating cardiovascular toxicity resulting from various cancer therapies. 2. Cardiac Immunology and Inflammatory Cardiac Diseases:
- Studying the pathogenesis and therapeutic management of inflammatory cardiac diseases, including diverse types of myocarditis.
- Examining the role of immune checkpoints in cardiac homeostasis, ischemic injury, tissue repair, and regeneration.
- Researching immune-mediated cardiac injury and exploring novel therapeutic interventions. 3. Translational Cardiology and Precision Medicine:
- Developing innovative therapeutics for the treatment of immune-related cardiac diseases.
- Utilizing machine learning and multi-omics approaches to facilitate biomarker discovery and improve patient stratification. Dr. Qin employs state-of-the-art techniques, including preclinical models, patient-derived samples, large-scale clinical data, machine learning, and single-cell spatial multi-omics, to elucidate disease mechanisms, identify novel therapeutic targets, and develop advanced therapies. Her interdisciplinary approach bridges basic immunology with translational cardiology, advancing precision medicine in the fields of cardio-oncology and immune-mediated cardiac diseases.
