At that time, he received his Masters in Teaching at Pace University School of Education, in New York, New York. He then began his career in medicine, obtaining his medical degree from Weill-Cornell Medical College, New York, New York. Dr. Virbalas finished both his internship and otolaryngology – head and neck surgery residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York, followed by a Pediatric Otolaryngology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital in Aurora, Colorado.
