Jonathan Amatruda, MD, MAS is an assistant clinical professor in the UCSF Division of Nephrology at the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. His research interests have focused on the development of novel biomarkers of kidney health, especially those that relate to the kidney tubule. His clinical practice is in general nephrology (chronic kidney disease, dialysis, and acute kidney injury) with a particular interest in the care of patients with chronic kidney disease and heart disease.
