Jiaxi Chen received his MD from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas in 2017 and subsequently completed his general surgery residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA in 2023. He studied under the direction of Dr. Randy Sherman at Cedars-Sinai during the dedicated research year of his surgery residency.

Dr. Chen joined the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at University of California San Francisco as a plastic surgery resident in 2023. His clinical interests include hand surgery and microsurgery.
