Our laboratory focuses on understanding cell fate decisions driven by cell-cell interactions and signaling pathways, in the context of immunology, cancer, and stem cell biology. We have a very international team that embraces DEI. Post docs in my lab go off to start their own academic labs or secure exciting positions in industry. http://rooselab.ucsf.edu/

In addition to running our lab, I enjoy setting up large collaborative research programs so that my team members (and everyone else) can benefit. In 2018, I co-founded ImmunoX. Also in 2018, I started an Organoid disease to biology (D2B) unit. I co-lead the UCSF Endeavor Program that focuses on cancer metastasis and co-lead the UCSF AutoImmunoProfiler Initiative.
