Jeannette Tenthorey, PhD
Assistant Professor
Cellular Molecular Pharmacology
School of Medicine

jeannette.tenthorey@ucsf.edu

Dr. Tenthorey's lab focuses on understanding how germline-encoded innate immune receptors are built to successfully detect rapidly evolving viral pathogens. Through evolutionary, biochemical and structural dissection, the lab uncovers basic design principles as well as molecular understanding of host-pathogen interactions.
