Her clinical responsibilities include evaluating patients in the emergency department at the San Francisco VA Medical Center and providing virtual emergency consultation and telehealth visits to Veterans in Northern California, Nevada and the Pacific Islands. She is the Course Director for the VHAs national SimLEARN (Simulation Learning, Evaluation, Assessment and Research Network) Telehealth Mini-Residency. She originated and provides subject matter expertise on the Salesforce CRM product, the Tele Emergency Care Tracker, which is used to ensure safe handoffs of Veterans during their virtual episode of care and allows for reporting on quality metrics.
