Dr. Leung is the director of the Perioperative Medicine Research Group based at UCSF Medical Center. The group conducts outcomes research in older surgical patients. Our recent work focuses on identifying the pathophysiology of postoperative delirium and cognitive decline, and also the mechanism between sleep disruption and ICU delirium.
