Dr. Kordbacheh's research focuses on advanced imaging techniques, particularly in abdominal radiology. His work includes the application of dual-energy CT for assessing therapeutic response in cancer and the exploration of advanced MRI techniques. He has contributed to studies on a range of topics, including hepatobiliary, prostate, and colorectal cancer imaging. His research has been recognized with awards from the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) , the Society of Abdominal Radiology (SAR), and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).
Dr. Kordbacheh served as Chair of the Research and Innovation Committee and a member of the Mentorship Program during his residency and was recognized with several Resident Teacher Awards. He is a co-author of two book chapters on abdominal imaging.
