I am engaged in quality improvement initiatives to strengthen opioid safety and develop interdisciplinary care models that support addiction treatment within primary care. As an educator, I teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows across inpatient and outpatient settings, and contribute to curriculum development in addiction medicine, HIV primary care, and community-engaged care. My teaching focuses on clinical reasoning, communication skills, and the care of structurally vulnerable populations. My academic interests center on health equity, safety-net innovation, and the development of scalable models for delivering culturally responsive, patient-centered care.
