Griffin Plattner is originally from Fort Myers, Florida where he grew-up as a Red Sox fan watching spring training games. He received his bachelor’s degrees in business management and chemical Engineering from the University of Florida, Go Gators. He then earned his MD at Washington University in St. Louis before completing Internal Medicine Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, in the primary care track.

He is now an NCSP Fellow at University of California, San Francisco with research interests in medical education, community-based healthcare delivery, and policy with a focus on health equity.
