Dr. Lionetti is a board-certified pediatric rheumatologist committed to treating children, teens, and young adults with rheumatic disease. She completed her Pediatric internship and residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and her Pediatric Rheumatology fellowship at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, Stanford University.

She serves as the Medical Director and Section Chief of the Pediatric Rheumatology division at UCSF Benioff Children’s Oakland. Her clinical work focuses on improving outcomes for children with rheumatic diseases through comprehensive evaluations and individualized treatment plans, with the goal of reducing morbidity so they may enter adulthood unhindered by their disease. Her primary areas of interest include mitigating treatment-related sequelae, auto-inflammatory disorders, improved access to subspecialty care, and resident education. To ensure adequate access to care, she also sees patients in the Walnut Creek outreach clinic and is involved in developing a telehealth program.
